I bring over 3 decades of experience as a speech language pathologist to Talking Points Speech Therapy. My experience includes working with children of all ages with a variety of needs in schools and private practice. 

As a working mom of three, I understand how full and fast family life can be. I focus on working smarter not harder, by coaching parents and caregivers to weave therapeutic strategies into everyday routines. By embedding simple, meaningful practice into daily moments, we maximize opportunities for learning and create the greatest impact on a child’s speech and language development, without adding extra stress or taking away from important family time.

A couple of my favorite things about being a speech-language pathologist is watching a child’s personality grow and shine through as their speech and language skills expand. I love to see the child’s face light up with a smile when they have that “I GOT IT” moment. Another is working with families and caregivers to develop a strong, trusting relationship.

I am an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Licensed NJ Speech Language Pathologist and certified NJ Speech Language Specialist. I am committed to providing evidence-based intervention and staying informed on the most recent research in the field. Most recently I completed intensive courses in both IMSE Orton-Gillingham and Play Based Learning. I believe that language is an integral part of literacy and play is an integral part of language.

I currently live with my husband in Montvale, NJ where we raised three wonderful sons. I have been both on the parent and therapist side of therapy. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and our dog, walking, skiing, learning to play golf, and reading.
